Home Construction

We're a team of passionate volunteers who help build homes for people in need of decent and affordable shelter. We're made up of staff, core volunteers, groups, organizations, and other community volunteers that want to help people achieve brighter futures through homeownership. 

The home construction volunteers are the backbone to our organization in helping homebuyer partners achieve strength and stability through homeownership. We build the frame of the house, complete siding, install windows, install flooring, complete interior finishes, paint, and more. 

Volunteering with us is not only a chance to give back to the community, but also an opportunity to make new friends and have fun. Our build site is a vibrant and welcoming environment where people from all walks of life come together to create something meaningful. Whether you're a seasoned builder or have never swung a hammer before, you'll find your place in our supportive team and make a lasting impact on the lives of deserving people in our community.

We build on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays — weather permitting. 

A typical day starts at 9:00 am and usually finishes around 1:00 pm.
